- Back From Norway
- We wanted to let you guys know we are back from Norway safe and sound. We got back July 4th, and we all had such a marvelous time there! We went from the 30th of June to July 4th. While we were there, we played 2 shows on Friday the 1st. We had one acoustic set and one regular set. We had such a great time playing both shows. We want to thank everyone of you and your marvelous selves for coming out to our show, and for just coming out to the festival and supporting all the amazing bands that played! We Enjoyed meeting/seeing new faces and talking to old friends. We had such a fun time!

- Late date, Update
- Well, first off we would really like to apologize for not updating this for o’ so long. We are truly sorry! We promise, from this day forward, we will keep you more informed on what is going on. Scout's honor!
So, many things have happened since our last post. I'm not sure were to even begin; but I guess we will start with this one big step that our little band took, which is.... OUR FULL LENGTH ALBUM IS OUT!!
It came out on March 9, 2010. I know, I know that was many moons ago, but it is still very exciting for us. We hope it's also exciting for you too.
So, we’re hoping since it was so long ago, that maybe, just maybe you have purchased it already (crossing our fingers). But if not, I'm thinking that you should go to the link on our website that says "Records", click on the CD that says "Time On A String", and then buy it : ) It took a lot of time and effort to put this album out, and we hope that all our hard work was not in vain, and that you all enjoy it as much as we enjoyed making it! But that is the big exciting news; our full length is finally out! Which leads to this next topic....
.....A few days before our cd came out, we had our cd release party (March 7) which was actually the first show to kick off our first tour ever! We toured with none other than, the wonderful Danielson and the lovely Ben and Vesper! And let us tell you, we had so, so much fun touring with them; and just the tour in general! It was such a wonderful experience going to all those different states, playing at all of the really rad venues and meeting such amazing people who came to all of the shows!
Which, we would all like to thank you tons and tons for coming out, supporting and listening to our music! We definitely could not have done it without you!
What has Ortolan been up to since tour? Well, we have just been playing shows, practicing and writing new stuff. If you come to one of our shows, we might just play you a new song, or two. Hopefully, you will check up on our shows, to see when we will be in a town near you : )
So last, but definitely not least. In 3 days (June 30th) we will all be flying out to beautiful Norway, to play a wonderful festival, in lovely Egersund! You would not believe how excited we are to be playing the Egersund Festival again! We had such a marvelous time last year playing and meeting such kind, friendly people. And we cannot wait to see everyone again and listen to all the spectacular bands! So, if you happen to live or just be in Norway July 1-3, please do come to the Egersund Festival! Because, it's going to be wild!

- Honey Bunches Of Oats and bunches of other stuff too.

- So. Ever get addicted to stuff sometimes?
Well...recently we have been loving Honey Bunches of Oats. If you have never had this cereal, we recommend trying it. But the best thing is now they have the cereal and its just the 'bunches'! Can't get any better then that! I think you now know what we will be eating from now on. (No, we did not get paid for an advertisement. We just like to eat it.)
But obviously you don't come here to read about our favorite morning foods. What you do come here for is to hear about some of the exciting stuff that's coming up soon!

Our tour is coming up pretty fast. You can check out when and where we will be heading next month.
Hopefully we will be in your neighborhood sometime soon. This tour will be our first tour in the U.S.! Well, our first tour anywhere for that matter.
We will be touring with two lovely bands that I'm sure you have heard of. (And if not, you should check 'em out.)
